Great photo - really walks the line between a candid and staged capture, it's quite hard to tell which it is. Lovely atmosphere, especially because of the way the light is shining on him; there is a surprising beauty in such a dark place.

Excellent photo - the whole composition looks like it was designed for a super-high-budget movie set in a steel-working factory. I love this.

yeah. i did a HD clip of that scene too.

it was a comission for a PR agency of the factories. so i tried to combine a photojournalistic attemt with the aesthetics of a set-up shooting.. still saying the truth but making it look as good as possible - you know.

the colours, perspective, lighting and atmosphere in general are pretty awesome...I think it looks like a painting quite honestly. Commission or not I find it interesting

surprisingly clean files for iso1000. enjoied the series, though I guess you had some more 'impressive' shots of welding.
this shot lacks this additional 'action' content if I look at it as a single photo.

well. i know what you mean by impressive. the commission was also about the aesthetics of the work but i prefer the pj attempt. i like the shot because it just shows the whole scenery.
