i had an assignment at the oktoberfest this year. my client wants to keep things unpublished at the moment - but i can still show selected photographs in my portfolio.
i was shooting at a sunday night, a whole monday and tuesday till the afternoon.
i took this at the first evening. i saw him sitting alone with his beer - the tent was about to close.
i took a sit in front of him, smiled, he smiled back and i took the photo - and left again.
as it's part of a whole series, i wouldn't put it as a spontanious portrait. i was commissioned to do documentary - so i didn't have much time to spend with each scene i saw, there are too many.
one of the most exhausting commissions i had lately - but worth the stress.
